Meal Prep delivery business offering authentic Mexican Food

Create an intuitive and user-friendly mobile app design for my client's meal prep delivery business that can help increase efficiency, revenue and improve customer satisfaction.

Overview

Audience

-Client:

Carolina Bruno, is a passionate Entrepreneur who owns two cafes and a meal prep delivery business. With a love for cooking and Mexican cuisine, she seeks to streamline her business operations and bring them together in one organized platform.

-Customers:

Individuals who are health-conscious, have a busy lifestyle, and have limited time to cook and prepare meals. This can also include those who are looking for convenience, variety, and customization in their meal choices.

Problem

-Client:

• Investing too much time on tracking individual orders

• Investing too much time in social media to advertise meal prep services

• Hard time keeping up with having orders because they are placed in different platforms

-Customers:

Individuals who are health-conscious, have a busy lifestyle, and have limited time to cook and prepare meals. This can also include those who are looking for convenience, variety, and customization in their meal choices.

• Real Time notifications for business when customers place an order

• Time Saving (less social media management)

• Everything in one place

-Customers:

Convenience and ease of ordering customized, healthy meals that are delivered directly to their doorstep. With features such as flexible delivery options, meal tracking, and personalized meal plans, customers can save time and enjoy a stress-free meal prep experience.

Discovery and Research

User Personas and User Stories

To to create reliable and realistic representations of my key audience segments, I crafted User Personas based on the results from my previous research. Also Using Agile methodology I created User stories which will help with each user's end goal therefore it's easier to stay in scope.

Usability Testing and Iteration

Based on the inputs, recommendations and the challenges faced by the users during the usability testing. I made a few notes to make the necessary changes in my design to create the final prototype

User Flows

I created user flows that shows step by step every decision the user takes to order food via mobile app

Sketches and Low fidelity Prototype

Sketches and different ideas were my client and I collaborated together to later come up with the final design.

Final Prototype

After designing the user interface and creating digital wireframes, I moved to creating and refining a clickable Prototype.

Tools: Figma, Uizard and Maps.

Outcome

Prioritizing user experience and accessibility, offering customizable meal plans, providing clear nutritional information, incorporating features such as meal tracking, flexible delivery options, and easy payment will create ta great customer and client's satisfaction.
